Long Island based Environmental Consulting firm is looking for an entry level, full-time employee with a degree in geology, environmental science or industrial hygiene. The ideal candidate will be a recent college graduate or an employee with 1 to 2 years experience. Assignments will include Phase I and II Environmental Site Assessments; soil, soil vapor and groundwater sampling; Superfund and Brownfield site work; petroleum spill investigations; and site remediation. The position will require a combination of office and field visits. Job sites are primarily in the 5 boroughs of NYC, Nassau, Suffolk, and Westchester Counties. Salary will be commensurate with experience, 40 hour OSHA HAZWOPER training and CADD experience a plus. The position includes paid holidays, vacation, health insurance and company retirement plan.
