Home is the A-list place to be for the holidays

Home is the A-list place to be for the holidays

There’s nothing like Christmas Day to remind regular folks that celebrities are just like us, except with much nicer presents. Confidenti@l asked around to see how people who entertain us will spend their holidays.

Judd Apatow insists he and his family aren’t going anywhere, and for good reason.

“We are staying home,” he told us recently. “A psychic told us that if we went away we were going to die. So we are staying home! But if we don't die, I’m going to out that psychic and say her name! I’m going to say, ‘You’re not a good psychic because I’m alive!’ ”

Not shockingly, “Top Chef” judge Eric Ripert plans to spend Christmas in the kitchen.

“I make a capon, which is like a large chicken, stuffed with truffles, and then with that also smoked salmon and oysters and lots of good wines,” he told Confidenti@l at a Christie’s auction.

Former Real Housewife Jill Zarin said she spends Christmas Eve with her husband, ex-husband, 20-year-old daughter and her ex-in-laws, which she follows with a “traditional Jewish Christmas” of Chinese food and a movie. “I want to see the new Barbra Streisand movie,” says Zarin, admitting, “I don’t know what it’s called.”

What Kristmas would be complete without keeping up with the Kardashians? A friend of the family’s tells us they were all going to be in L.A. for Kris and Bruce Jenner’s annual Christmas Eve party, with Kanye West as Kim’s date before the two headed to Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve. Lamar Odom has to work Christmas Day â€" his L.A. Clippers are hosting the Denver Nuggets.

Sarah Jessica Parker said she and Matthew Broderick are “pretty conventional” for the holiday. According to Parker, “We like to eat, we play Yankee Trader [a board game].” She adds, “I have a lot of siblings, so it’s great to have everyone over.”

Liev Schreiber told us he and Naomi Watts want peace on Earth â€" or at least in their home â€" for Christmas. Schreiber says their sons, ages 4 and 5, have been at odds lately.

“They’re kind of at war right now, so there haven’t been any precious moments,” Schreiber said. “Once Christmas is gone and the presents are out of the way, maybe they will return to normalcy again.”

SWIFT AND STYLES: HOLIDAY SOLOS

Let’s hope Taylor Swift and Harry Styles (above) don’t have a blue Christmas. After sharing a ski trip last weekend, the couple will be apart for the holidays. The One Direction heartthrob is back in the U.K. while Swift is in Australia promoting her album “Red.” A source tells Confidenti@l that Swift invited Styles down under, but he wanted to be in the U.K. to celebrate bandmate Louis Tomlinson’s Monday birthday and spend Christmas with his family.

KUTCHER TAKES KUNIS on A FIELD TRIP

Mila Kunis is about to find out why Ashton Kutcher is so corny. People magazine has spotted the happy couple in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where the 34-year-old funny hunk was raised. The stars could surely use a break. Just before the weekend Kutcher (l.) filed for divorce from Demi Moore, whom he split from over a year ago. While that was happening, Kunis (r.) had become the target of a Ukrainian politician’s anti-semitic Facebook rant.
