Connor Cruise, 17, is making a name for himself in the DJ arena.

Even when the cameras aren’t rolling, the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” are catty.

Yolanda Foster, who is among the latest additions to the show along with Marisa Zanuck, may have come at the expense of her Grammy Award-winning music mogul husband’s ex-wife: Linda Thompson, a source exclusively tells Confidenti@l.

When Thompson learned the show wanted new cast members for season three, “she was campaigning hard, trying everything,” an insider says of the 62-year-old former pageant queen, who was married to Bruce Jenner before marrying David Foster.

The source also said the famed former girlfriend of Elvis Presley isn’t a stranger to “Housewives.” As a longtime pal of cast member Kyle Richards, Thompson has appeared peripherally in past seasons of the Bravo show. “She’s tried everything to get in front of the camera at parties,” the source sniffs.

But Thompson’s attempts were futile. “When she found out Yolanda was cast [on the show], she told everyone, ‘Not only did Yolanda take my husband, she also took my show!’” says the source. “She was so desperate to get that role, but Yolanda got it.”

Boxed out, the bitter wanna-be-Housewife then tried to make lemonade out of lemons.

“Linda thought then at least with Yolanda on the show, as David’s ex-wife, maybe she’d get more screen time,” the source says. But Yolanda “knew that Linda wanted the part and told Bravo that she didn’t want Linda near the cameras.”

This isn’t Thompson’s first try for reality stardom. “When she was married to David, she was desperate to be on television,” explains the source. “She finally convinced him to be on a reality show with her called “The Princes of Malibu.” The short-lived Fox show featured Thompson’s two sons, Brody and Brandon Jenner. “She thought it would turn into something, but it caused all kinds of problems.” Thompson filed for divorce from Foster after 14 years of marriage in 2005, the day after the show premiered. He married Yolanda about six years later.

A spokeswoman for Bravo and a rep for Thompson did not respond to requests for comment by deadline.

READY FOR ANOTHER CRUISE

Connor Cruise is building a celebrity Rolodex that extends past his movie star dad.

The 17-year-old adopted son of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman played a 45-minute deejay gig at the Darby Downstairs nightclub Monday night after fueling up with pals Michael Strahan and musician Jay Galvin.

A source says Cruise had dinner with Galvin and the 41-year-old “Live! With Kelly & Michael” host around 8 p.m. at Asellina in the Gansevoort Park Hotel. Then he headed to the Darby, where Strahan, who Cruise met when he appeared on “Live!” accompanied him.

Strahan “was too tired to stay out so late,” says an insider, who saw Strahan leave before Cruise hit the deck. But “Entourage” star Kevin Connolly, surrounded by pretty ladies, stuck around.

Connolly “created a cloud of smoke with his electronic cigarette, and was stopped by security until they realized it was fake,” says the source.
