Job Description:

My name is Deidra and I represent The Fountain Group.  We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking a Clinical Supplier Quality Specialist for a prominent client of ours.  This position is located in East Hanover, NJ.  Details for the positions are as follows:
 
Job Description:
 
·         Facilitate the activities required to assess External Service Providers (ESPs) in support of a robust supplier risk management program. 
·         The scope includes current ESPs responsible for the performance of Phase I-IV clinical trial activities. 
·         This would include the evaluation of defined due diligence criteria across a specific supply base.
·         Function as Subject Matter Expert (SME) in assessing vendor quality, compliance, and risk.
·         Ensure consistent implementation and/or application of qu ality measures in support of a robust vendor management program which includes:
·         Implementing standards, templates, tools, and processes for ESP assessment & qualification
·         Managing the ESP due diligence process with support from the Vendor Center of Excellence Leads, Outsourcing QA, and Project Manager Ensuring cross functional connections (e.g., legal, finance, etc.) as the due diligence evaluation may require Identifying potential ESP areas of risk
·         Updating information systems to track ESPs due diligence compliance and approval status
·         Liaising with the global VCoE and Outsourcing QA groups in the resolution of issues
 
Job Responsibilities:
 
·         Bachelor's degree; advanced degree or equivalent desirable.
·         Strategic Sourcing, clinical development experience, vendor assessment, selection, management
·          Fluent English Oral and written
·         Strategic Sourcing, clinical development experience, vendor assessment, selection, management
·         International experience in Drug Development in Pharmaceutical Industry or with a vendor/provider
·         Experience in outsourcing, contracting, sourcing, of clinical services; from Vendor/Provider specific experience in proposals, contracts, business development.
·         Good understanding of GCP, the clinical development process and the management of clinical trials.
·         Demonstrated ability of completing projects on time and within budget.
·         Strong leadership skills and the ability to work cross-functionally, cross-divisionally and in a highly matrixed environment.
·         Excellent influencing and negotiation skills.
·         Good understanding of contracts (including basic legal understandi ng of terms and conditions).
·         Solid problem solving skills.
·         Demonstrated willingness to make decisions and to take responsibility for such.
