Justin Bieberâs behavior is reportedly giving his record label fits.
Bieber Fever is giving Justin Bieberâs record label a huge headache. And insiders tell Confidenti@l that the teen starâs bratty antics may be jeopardizing his career.
âJustin doesnât seem to care and does whatever he wants,â a source tell Confidenti@l. One insider says Bieberâs team has had several talks with him, but âhe doesnât listen to anyone.â
Another Bieber insider tells us, âHe smokes weed all day, from the time he gets up, and orders everybody around. Heâs surrounded by hangers-on who say âyesâ to anything he wants. Thereâs no supervision.â
That source indicates Bieberâs family sometimes comes to him for money, which further complicates the situation.
While some close to Bieber think heâs simply exhibiting teen angst, another source tells us, âThis could really damage his reputation if they donât get it under control. Justin is someone young teens look up to and this kind of behavior can really hurt his career. Just look at what happened with Britney Spears.â
While Spears, 31, has enjoyed a newfound success since signing on as a judge on Foxâs âX Factorâ in May, few would argue sheâd fallen out of the spotlight in recent years.
The Biebs recently drew criticism from the Philippine congress for tweeting Photoshopped images ridiculing boxer Manny Pacquiao, whoâs also a politician there.
Philippine legislators called his tweets, which mocked the boxer whoâd been brutally knocked out in a Dec. 8 fight, âdistasteful,â and demanded an apology âlest he be declared persona non grataâ in their country. Bieber has more than 30 million followers on Twitter.
The Philippine congress isnât the only governing body the Biebs has angered in recent days. Last week, an organization calling itself the California Hamster Association accused Bieber of animal cruelty when he gave his pet hamster to a screaming fan outside a concert in Atlanta. A spokesman there told TMZ changes in environment are dangerous to a hamsterâs health.
Another insider thinks the singerâs on-off relationship with Selena Gomez may be causing him stress. The pair was spotted over the weekend getting cozy on a ski trip to Utah, but weâre told âsheâs been giving him a really hard time⦠sheâs been partying without him and it drives him crazy.â
Bieberâs reps declined to comment. Reps at Bieberâs record label, Def Jam Records, didnât return requests for comment by deadline.

Despite the guest of honorâs Boston Celtics accouterment, Saturday nightâs soiree honoring Vogue entertainment editor Jill Demlingâs birthday at Windsor Park Avenue was a stylish affair. Spies tell Confidenti@l actress Maggie Grace, Vogue market editor Meredith Melling Burke, shoe designer Alejandro Ingelmo and Alan Tisch joined the birthday girl in a bottle of Dom Perignon Rosé.
UMBRELLA OF CARE
Itâs the season of giving all right, but wow. Pop superstar Rihanna donated $ 1.75 million to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Barbados Sunday in honor of the grandmother she lost in June. The donation will provide equipment for the Clara Braithwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine, which was dedicated to Ririâs granny. The 24-year-old singer, whose seventh studio album âUnapologeticâ was released last month, hails from Saint Michael, Barbados.
