Bioscience Editing Solutions (www.bioscienceeditingsolutions.com) is a web-based editing service providing scientific editing and critiquing of scientific documents. We are expanding rapidly and are looking to add several freelance editors to our staff. We primarily serve academic medical and scientific researchers. Our editing services typically focus on scientific manuscripts to be published in scientific journals; however, we also edit grant applications, scientific theses, book chapters, and other biomedical documents.

We are looking to hire freelance editors who have a scientific background and previous editorial experience. We are typically looking for editors who have the following:

1. Strong scientific background (PhD/MD degrees preferred); we are highly interested individuals with backgrounds in
- Biochemistry
- Botany (high priority)
- Cancer biology/oncology
- Clinical Medicine
- Immunology
- Microbiology
- Molecular Biology

2. Previous editing experience; preferably 1 - 2 years of scientific editing experience

3. Flexible schedules; ability to adapt to higher workloads when required
