Amid rumors of their romance hitting a rough patch, Britney Spears has nothing but praise for fiancé Jason Trawick.
The “X Factor†judge, who recently topped Forbes’ list of the highest-earning female musicians with $ 58 million, told People.com that 2012 has been an “amazing†year, thanks in part to her personal life.
“It amazes me that no matter what situation I'm in, Jason has the ability to make me feel protected and loved,†Spears told the magazine.
The 31-year-old pop star’s comments come after a Radar Online report claimed that Spears and Trawick were on the verge of calling off their wedding.
“Things have been getting worse and worse with their relationship for several months now, and they know they have to figure things out once and for all because they can’t keep going on like this,†a source told the gossip site, adding that the pair is planning to go on a “make or break†vacation together over the holidays.
Regardless of the rumors, Spears couldn’t help but gush to People about her two sons â€" Sean Preston, 7, and Jayden, 6 â€" from her previous marriage to Kevin Federline.
"It's really amazing to see how quickly my boys are growing up," she said. "It seems like yesterday I was reading books to them at night. Now I sit and listen to them read me books!"
