Job Description
Idalia has built and staffed a prototyping semiconductor fab line. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Lab Technician trained in semiconductor wafer prep and the safe handling of chemicals to assist in the cleaning and processing of wafers throughout the process.
This position is full-time.
Immediate responsibilities include the following:
-Semiconductor wafer prep & processing
-Optical and Electronic characterization of materials
-Set up, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of relevant equip ment and area
-Safe management of chemicals inventory
-Sourcing and ordering materials and equipment
Required Education/Experience
EE, Chemistry, MatSci, closely related field
Bachelors with 2-3 years experience, REQUIRED
Research experience/environment
R&D settings
Preferences
Experience handling HF, HCl, acetic acid, solvents, bases.
Strong science background.
Candidates should have meticulous attention to detail.
Preference for candidates who are current on lab safety standards/protocols, OSHA regs for chemicals.
Prior experience handling/mixing/disposing of chemicals.
