Kevin and Danielle Jonas stop by Engine 8 / Ladder 2/ Battalion 8 to offer some Holiday cheer and support to the Daily News and City Harvest Readers Care to Feed the Hungry Food Drive.
One of the Jonas Brothers and his wife lent some star power to the FDNY by drawing a crowd of fans to a midtown stationhouse for the City Harvest food drive Friday.
Kevin and Danielle Jonas, greeted by about 30 screaming fans at the Engine 8/Ladder 2 station on E. 51st St., were happy to support needy New Yorkers.
“The holiday season is always about giving back, anytime really. Me and my brothers, we do it a lot,†Jonas said.
“I love the Jonas Brothers . . . if they weren’t here I wouldn’t be,†said Caitlin Benosky, 20, of Yaphank. She brought peanut butter and canned soup.
FDNY Commissioner Salvatore Cassano thanked the “Married to Jonas†stars for bringing publicity to the cause.
